Protest

This page is about making a protest against Male Genital Mutilation (MGM) or politely referred to as 'circumcision'.  The word 'Circumcision' simply means to cut round and remove, the word has been used in the English language to disguise and attempt to make respectable the horror of what is done to a child that is forced to suffer it.  Let us be honest, circumcision is an amputation of a functional, highly sensitive and most personal part of the male body.  Every mammal on earth has a foreskin for a purpose and if it were a 'defect' then nature would have evolved this part of the anatomy to in effect make circumcision a redundant procedure.

Circumcision is child sexual abuse, nothing less.  It is an insult to whatever or whoever created us so is (for the religious) an insult to God/Allah/Creation.

'T' shirt transfers

Circumstitions has a set of designs in various languages available for posters or 'T' shirt transfers at the following URL.  The number of designs is going to be expanded as they become available.

There are many ways you can protest and help end this barbaric practice and it does not mean that you have to be identified by thousands of people.  Asking if your doctor supports circumcision of children and making it known to him/her that it is an abuse of human rights, if it has had a bad effect on you then say so and ask for the doctors view on your discontent, you of course must have the last word on the subject.

Print and discretely leave leaflets in places where the parents of boys may see them.  Ask your local library to stock various books on foreskin restoration, do it in writing.  Leave information leaflets in doctors surgery's for patients to read.  Most waiting rooms have racks for such things.  If you are in the UK Norm-UK have a set of professional leaflets that you can obtain for the purpose.  Ask the practice manager first if you can leave them and if you get a refusal request a written statement why you were refused and forward it to Norm-UK for further advice.

The circumcision of any child without unavoidable medical need is an abuse of human rights of the child and the adult the child will become.  It is a barbaric act of sexual abuse which degrades and shames any society that allows it.
