Penile length

###Picture warning at bottom of page###

Although the length of the penis is not as important as the way it is used it does concern many people as they perceive it is important.  There may be other reasons for measuring the erect length of you penis and for those that do I have put the following way of measuring for your interest.  It appears to be the standard way used by the medical profession and the only way that is free from variation.

Although the concept that the penile length can be measured flaccid or in the 'soft' state being the same as the erect length might be hard to believe, the results are almost exactly the same.  The penis cannot ever be longer when erect than the tissue forming the mass inside the penis.  Stretching the inner or core of the penis simply gives the maximum extent of expansion when engorged with blood (the process that makes the penis hard and stiff).

The method is quite simple and involves using the pubic bone as a datum, one that is fixed and does not alter.

Method.

1 - Lay down on a flat surface or stand upright.

2 - Place a rule or flat object near the base of the penis on the side nearest the abdomen and press firmly towards the pubic bone.

3 - With a cloth or paper towel (for grip), grasp the head of the penis (glans) and pull outwards.

4 - Read off the rule or note the mark where the tip of the glans reaches.

5 - If the rule has measurements starting at the end of the rule then the point indicated is the length of the penis when erect, if the measurements start other than at the end then subtract that from the total.  If you have used anything other than a rule then measure the length to the observed mark.

Note:

If you have been circumcised or mutilated and there is a deficiency of shaft skin, pushing the rule to the pubic bone will restrict the measured length.  You can therefore take two measurements as follows:

a) With the rule at the base of the penis and then measure.  This will be the length restricted by the circumcision/MGM.

b) Stretch the penis forward without the rule in place and then press the rule to the pubic bone the best way you can without pushing the penis closer to your body, you may have to have a few attempts.  This will be the length without the restriction of the deficient shaft skin.

The above will help in assessing the gain you will make due to restoration.  It will also give a benchmark for the amount of skin that needs to be gained as a minimum, so that sexual penetration is not restricted and hairy pubic skin is not dragged into the sensitive parts of your partner.

Remember size does not matter as much as we are led to believe so please do not throw money away on pills, potions, surgery etc. that simply do not work or are downright dangerous.  The myth that a huge penis is what a woman or another male partner wants is a ruse to make money, there are men that will tell you a long penis can be a disadvantage.  Be content with restoration and gaining back what was stolen from you.

The circumcision of any child without unavoidable medical need is an abuse of human rights of the child and the adult the child will become.  It is a barbaric act of sexual abuse which degrades and shames any society that allows it.
