Rings of Same Size

A stack of rings the same size is a method preferred by some restorers.  The principal is to pull the shaft skin through the rings forward of the glans to make a series of rings the same size.  You will need some spare shaft skin to start this method as with all O ring methods.

The stack of rings may have to start with a single ring and then more rings can be added as the skin expands enough to accommodate further rings.  As with all expansion using rings the principal expansion of skin is to that on the shaft, only the rings used with a foam insert will have an effect on the inner foreskin and that may be small due to the small pressure exerted by the foam.

There are two possible disadvantages of the single size ring stack and they are:

1. The skin must make a sharp turn in direction as it enters the ring at an angle of up to 90 deg.  The skin must then do another right angle turn up the center of the rings.  This may cause some discomfort of make the skin sore.  Another effect can be to reduce blood flow to the skin because of the pressure on the skin as it changes it's angle to enter the first ring.  The ring cone aims to make transition gradual and cradles the glans from the outside of the foreskin so easing this effect.
2. The rings can be more difficult to assemble as it is not so easy to pull the skin through rings of the same size, the more rings used the more resistance to pull skin through.  An advantage can however be claimed that this extra resistance puts more tension on the skin under the rings so aiding skin growth.

As with all methods there are advantages, disadvantages and preferences and what is good for one person may not be so good for another.

One tip is not to have the rings to small if you use this method so that you can pull enough skin through to make the process effective.  Also consider using a piece of cloth to grip the skin when using rings so that you get a better grip without making the skin sore.
