'X'-Tape

This method is often used as a starting point where the amount of skin available is small or to keep the glans covered at night.  It will not be either comfortable or practical if the skin is very deficient on the penis as erections may cause a great deal of discomfort, in those cases T-tape or tube methods may be more suitable.  Even so the 'X-tape' and 'Tape strip' are safe and simple to use at night.

One main advantage over the simple strip of tape is that it can resist the force of an erection with less tape either side and not allowing the glans to push the tape to one side and 'pop out'.

See the page on 'Tape Strip' for details of how to cut the tape, tips and other information concerned with this method.

The circumcision of any child without unavoidable medical need is an abuse of human rights of the child and the adult the child will become.  It is a barbaric act of sexual abuse which degrades and shames any society that allows it.
